What I thought was a hang­over has turned out to be a cold. I’m fly­ing up to Syd­ney a in cou­ple of days, so it’s fan­tas­tic timing.

Oh, the pain: Day 43 — 21/10/06

As I write this I’m nurs­ing a nice hang­over from last night. Ange and I went to a friend of hers to try out the pizza maker she’d bought them. It’s an unbe­liev­ably awe­some machine. I’ll be get­ting one myself.

Krispy Kreme

Well I’ve plateaued again. I’m still at 93kgs. I guess it’s an indi­ca­tion that I really do need to increase the amount of exer­cise I’m getting.

The sharper eyed reader will have noticed I’ve removed any ref­er­ence to water in my daily diet break­down. I’ve had to “retire” my 1.25 litre bot­tle and replace it with a 600ml one. It gets filled when­ever I’m near the water tap, so I’m not track­ing how much I actu­ally drink.

The new guy at work brought in four boxes of Krispy Kreme dough­nuts today. I didn’t grab one, but that’s less about the diet and more that I don’t actu­ally like the taste of them.

Lunch*
Veal Schnitzel Roll with let­tuce, onion and avo­cado.

Din­ner
Potato, egg and salami pizza.
Blood Orange San Pel­li­grini.

Thrown a shoe: Day 41 — 19/10/06

Over the last cou­ple of days I’ve had a shoot­ing pain in my left foot. It only presents when I’m walk­ing to and from the train sta­tion (and work), so I’ve had to stop walk­ing up the stairs of my build­ing. While relac­ing my shoes does have a small effect, it’s not remov­ing the pain com­pletely. I sup­pose I could try not wear­ing Con­verse shoes for a while, but as the issue sticks around once I’ve taken the shoes off I’m not sure if it’ll help.
