I've been "advised" that it's high time I stopped writing about new site. While I can't promise that, I'll try to cut back on site-related posts. Emphasis on try.

With nothing else to write I bring you a mildly amusing anecdote:

There's two new McDonalds ads screening at the moment in Australia - one for the Egg and Bacon McMuffin and one for the BLT. Thanks to the miracle that is Saint YouTube, I can show you the BLT one without getting into wordy descriptions:

Can you tell what they're trying to sell? I'm pretty sure it has something to do with bacon.

It reminds me of one episode of The Simpsons when Lisa confronts L.T. Smash about the Navy's advertising techniques.

Smash: It's a three-pronged attack. Subliminal, liminal, and
superliminal.
Lisa: Superliminal?
Smash: I'll show you. [opens the window, and shouts at Lenny and
Carl, who are standing on the corner] Hey, you! Join the
Navy!
Carl: Uh, yeah, all right.
Lenny: I'm in.

After seeing the commercial for the first time I was dumbstruck. I started wondering out loud who would actually fall for something like that. Right at that moment Ange came down the stairs saying: "Hmm. Wouldn't mind some bacon actually."

So now I know.
