Today, Wednes­day 1st April 2009,  Script Frenzy offi­cially began. I should be busy writ­ing page after page of stun­ning and witty dia­logue right now, but being the awe­some pro­cras­ti­na­tor that I am, I’ll get on it later. It’s only 3.3 pages a day and I’ve man­aged to hit 10% of that today.

Jok­ing aside, I’m really hop­ing to fin­ish more than the 34 pages I man­aged to push out last year with my Heroes script. But labour­ing under the hand­i­cap of not know­ing who the hell my major char­ac­ters are and what they’re going to do over that 100 pages means the dif­fi­culty rat­ing is just that much higher. Choos­ing not to any seri­ous plan­ning again this year sud­denly doesn’t seems so wise either.

I did man­age to scratch out a very, very, very rough idea a few days ago, so I’m not going in com­pletely blind. But I do wish I’d plot­ted out the story a bit bet­ter before today. Oh well, too late for all that I suppose.
