Why Innocent Bystander?
It came about as a joke when trying to wrangle free tickets from the Melbourne Arts Festival. I thought it would be funny to have a nametag with my name and "Innocent Bystander" underneath it. It's probably not nearly as funny as I think it is.

Not related to the winery then?
Nope. They do make a good drop of wine though.

Duly noted. So whats the site about then?
This site is part sandbox, part notebook, part journal. I use it to keep track of the happenings in my life (I have a terrible memory), while also using it to brush up on my XHTML, HTML and CSS skills. I'm learning PHP as I go. I no longer curl into the fetal position whenever I view the code.

Oh, and you'll see a few of my photos crop up from time to time.

What's the site running on?
The site sits on a version of WordPress. What version it is I couldn't tell you. The coding is a mix of XHTML, CSS and PHP. It's the WordPress default template, with style.

So it validates?
Hehe, not exactly. It's on the To Do list.

What else is on this so called To Do list?
Most of it can be found here. Thats the life-changing stuff though, the rest of the list is just peppered with the mudane chores like "replace lightbulb" and "throw out green waste".
